The Top Ten Video Game Quotes Part 1

You've got to admit, video game are cool. And all those girls who say, "I don't like video games!" Deep down, we all know you like video games. And with video games, there are quotes. So I am making a dedication to the top ten. In order, they are:

10."The cake is a lie."
-Portal
OK, nothing gets better than that. And in the game, it's the truth. Instead of cake, you get a pit of 3400 degrees fire. So from this quote, I say: Cake is good, not a lie.

9. "It's a-me! Mario!"
-Super Mario 64 (DS)
No denying it: The red capped plumber is everywhere. Shirts, the news, and most importantly, video games. So in Super Mario, that is the best quote. So what I don't understand is: Why make him say it every time he gets a star?

8. "Sorry, but our princess is in another castle!"
-Super Mario Bros.
Yes, we are visiting the man in red and blue again. But this time, it's not him! *Gasp* This time, it's from Peach's trusty servant, Toad. But for some reason, this quote makes me feel annoyed. Haven't you ever had those days where you try to save a princess, and then find out she's in another castle? (Nether have I.)

7. "Somebody set us up the bomb."
-Zero Wing
...One word: Hilarious. If you're a Japanese company who wants to make a video game, but only know a little bit of English, there is a solution. BUY A TRANSLATOR! But when this company never bothered to get one, what do we Americans get? Pure comedy.

6. "You fool! You gave cheese to a lactose intolerant volcano god!"

Where do I start with this? It's stupid, dumb, crazy, weird... I could go on and on. There is no way to say how weird this is. So if any of your friends say this to you, do one of two things: A. Be-friend that person. B. Say, "Don't say that and not expect to get hurt!" So never let ANYONE here you say this quote.

5. "Finish him!"

This quote is so cool, I can't stand it. There's nothing like the final punch to finish a guy off! It's #5 because there are so many cool characters in this game, with a lot of finishing moves. Punch, kick, finish them anyway you can! That's why it's #5.

As you most likely know, (from the name Roblox and the website www.infoofroblox.com) I was doing something for Roblox. Well, I wanted to blog more, but not to made a new (and fake) account. With the set-back of Roblox themed name, I am desiding to make lemonade out of lemons. So forget everything. Just pretend that this is called The Matt Channel. So get ready... Here comes The Matt Channel!

If you have click on this link, you most likely want to know about Roblox! Roblox is an online world where you can do virtually do anything. Make an obstacle course, perfect your place, even make a movie! After perfecting your place, invite your friends over to play at your place. You can even go to places of other people! You even have your own customizable character, which you can change by buying things from the catalog. Let's get into details:

CHARACTERS AND CURRENCY: Let's face it: It boring to be the same, even in video and computer games. But Roblox is all over that. Your character is customizable, literally from head to toe! Let's take my character for example.(Mattchat102298) When I started, I was getting so annoyed with the same blue pants and white shirt. Then I learned about the catalog. I was so excited to change, but like every game, you have to work for things. But if you're that kind of person who doesn't want to work for things, (heaven forbid) no worries. There is a way to get tickets (1 part of the currency) just by logging in! The other part of the currency is Robux. Robux is a little harder to get. You can get Robux the same way as tickets, but you need Builder's Club. (explained later) You can also trade currency with tickets to Robux. The final way is to by them. (Sadly, you have to use real money.) But if you don't care about all this, and you just want to skip to the fun, this next section is for you.

PLACES: I'd say about 95% of the people who joined Roblox didn't know about all the other things on Roblox. They just know that you can build things and make insane places. And those 95% are 95% right. Roblox is mainly about making fun places for other people. So, Let's get straight to the fun: Your first place involves a simple house, a lot of bricks, a slide, and a teeter-toter. If you are experienced, make your own things. But if you are new, I really suggest going into insert, and pick free models. There, you can pick out things other people have made, and put it into your place! After you are done making your place amazing, ask your friends to come over. And like I said earlier, do anything. Blow each other up! Make a tycoon! Go-kart! And even that is not the most fun thing. The best thing on Roblox is... *Drum roll* Playing in other places! If it's lame or insane, it's just plain fun to play with your friends. But if this still doesn't appeal to you, there is STILL a way to upgrade your account.

BUILDER'S CLUB: If the past paragraphs bored you, it's time for an upgrade in your account. There is an upgrade called Builder's Club. Builder's Club includes: A daily income of 15 Robux, you can actually sell things, And you get an exclusive hard hat. And the best for last... you can make up to ten places!
